Sue Ann Woody (Hervey, Jackson), 49, of Des Moines died Saturday April 12, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

The daughter of Delmar and Patricia Woody, Sue was born on Dec. 11, 1964.

She is survived by her son, Kristopher Hervey, and her daughter, Jennifer Hervey, both of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Silis Hervey of Mason City area, Emersyn McDonald of Des Moines and Shyna Redden and Ethan Reed, both of Des Moines; three brothers, Patrick Woody of Reasnor, Dennis Woody of Ankeny and Kelly Woody of Newton; and three sisters, Diana (David) Purvis, Linda (Jim) Christenson and Amy (Joe) Free, all of Newton.

She was preceded in death by both her parents and a brother, Michael Woody.

A celebration of life is being planned for her at a later date. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News.
