TEN HAGEN, KRICK, OFFCHISS, BOWLAN, MESSMAKER

Max Ten Hagen, 82, of Carlisle died of a heart ailment Friday at Iowa Methodist Medical center. The body will be cremated and memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at his home.

Mr. Ten Hagen was born in Pella and lived in the Des Moines and Carlisle areas most of his life. He was a retired Angus cattle farmer.

Survivors include his wife, June; three sons, Dennis Ten Hagen of Lacona, Michael Krick of Houston, Texas, and Tom Ten Hagen of Duncanville, Texas; two daughters, Candace Offchiss and Cynthia Bowlan, both of Indianola; a brother, Ray Ten Hagen of Indianola; a sister, Olla Mae Messmaker of Prairie City; eight grand children; and three great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Richardson funeral Home in Carlisle. Memorial contributions may be made to the Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation. ~ The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa Mon 3 Feb 1997.
