Leon was born on February 14, 1949 in Mt. Vernon, Arkansas. He served his country in the U.S. Army and U.S. Marines. He is survived by his sister, Doris (Jack) Phipps of Kellogg; 4 nephews; 2 nieces; and many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Leon and Vernell (Henry) Stone, Sr.
