William E. Buckley, 54, of Mason City, formerly of Colfax, died on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at his home in Mason City.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, at the Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax. Burial will be in the family plot at McKeever Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials in William’s name may be left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home. Memorials may also be mailed to the funeral home, please add, Attn: Buckley Family on the envelope.

Survivors include his daughter, Haley M. O’Connell of Cedar Rapids; step mother, Viola Buckley of Colfax; half-sisters, Betty (Ed) Brant of Colfax, Loretta (Kevin) Bonham of Prairie City, and Amber (Biliray) McMahon of Mitchellville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Lee and Rosamary (Bailey) Buckley; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Bailey and Ray and May Buckley; three brothers, Raymond Jr., Calvin, and his twin brother, Robert Buckley; and half-sister, LeAnna Buckley.
