Brother-in-law Dies in Seattle, Wash.

Asa Moler, head of the Maytag Inter-Mountain company, distributors for the Maytag company with headquarter at Portland, Ore., died Wednesday at 6 p.m., (Pacific time) at Seattle, Wash.

Mr. Moler is a brother-in-law of Mrs. Lena Blake and son-in-law of Mrs. Mary Lain of this city.

Mr. Moler was stricken with heart disease while in Seattle on business a couple of weeks ago. There had been hopes that he would recover, but he died suddenly in the hospital there last Wednesday evening.

Mr. Moler was secretary of the Maytag company for many years, before going west, and had visited Newton many times since.

The body was taken to Los Angeles, Calif., for burial, leaving Seattle Thursday. Funeral services were to be held there Saturday or Sunday

Immediate surviving relatives include his wife, who was with him in Seattle, and a son, Francis, of Los Angeles. ~ Newspaper unknown, possibly The Newton (IA) Daily News.
