Obituary Albert Svaboda (Svoboda)

Albert Svaboda was born Nov. 1, 1871 and departed this life May 14, 1932, at the age of 60 years, 6 months and 14 days.

He was united in marriage to Anna Bezdekasky in Chouse, Bohemia, Nov. 3, 1895.

Mr. Svaboda came to the United States in 1914, making his home at Colfax, Iowa, and Mrs. Svaboda joined him at Colfax in 1916.

Mr. and Mrs. Svaboda have made their home in Colfax with the exception of the years from 1921 to 1931, when he was employed at the Zukesburg mine near Madrid, Iowa.

Funeral services were held from the home Monday afternoon with Rev. l. C. McDonald in charge. Interment was made at Highland Cemetery. ~ Newspaper unknown, possibly The Des Moines Register or The Newton Daily News. Thurs 19 May 1932
