Death of Prairie City Minister

Rev. E. E. Parks, for a number of years pastor of the M. E. Church at Prairie City, passed away at his home there Sunday, after an illness of several weeks. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Edwards and burial will be at Carlisle, his old home.

Rev. Parks, who was 32 years of age at the time of his death, is survived by his wife and father and mother. He had been in the ministry since he was seventeen years of age, serving a number of pastorates in the Des Moines district.

While at Prairie City he endeared himself to the entire community and was especially active in Boy Scout work, having been their Scout master since the organization.
