James W. Good Dies on Friday; Services Tuesday

COLFAX – James William Good, 52, of Colfax died Friday at the Skiff Memorial Hospital in Newton.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.

The Rev. Robert Jones, pastor of the Christian Church in Colfax, will conduct services.

Graveside rites will be conducted at the Colfax cemetery by the Colfax American Legion.

Survivors are a son, James Leonard of Colfax; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Leona) Conner of West Des Moines and Mrs. Kay Foster of Newton; five grandchildren; and a sister, Harriett Brant of Colfax.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1966 and his parents.

Mr. Good, a farmer and laborer, was a veteran of World War II.

The son of Leonard and Matilda Williams Good, he was born April 7, 1925 at Colfax.
