Irma Quinn, 79, Ex-Resident Dies; Services Tuesday
Irma Quinn, 79, of Omaha, Neb., a former resident of Newton, died Sunday morning at Omaha, Neb.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson-Reese Chapel in Newton.
Father Frederick Kramer, rector of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Newton, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Mollie Winninger of Waterloo and Mrs. Bonnie Gould of Omaha, Neb.; three grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Morrison of Newton and Mrs. Guy (Millie) Rinehart of Laguna Hills, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A member of the Episcopal Church, she had been employed as a clerk and, while in Newton, at the Jasper County Courthouse and the Vernon Co.
The daughter of Robert and Racheal Flickinger, she was born Oct. 11, 1898 at Union Hills. ~ The Newton (Iowa) Daily News, Tuesday, January 10, 1978.
