Services Held For Area Resident

Funeral services for Fred G. Brewin, a longtime resident of Newton, were held Friday at the Johnson-Reese Funeral Home in that city. Burial was in the Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City.

Among the survivors is a sister, Mrs. Lewis Hadsall of Colfax.

Mr. Brewin died Tuesday, September 26, at the Embassy Manor in Newton. ~ Newspaper unnamed, but possibly The Des Moines Register or Newton (IA) Daily News Thurs 5 Oct 1978
