Buddy G. Bills, 59, of Kellogg died Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at his home.

A funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorials in Buddy’s name may be left at the funeral home or the church the morning of the service.

Buddy is survived by his wife, Shelia Bills; sons, Nathan and Brandon Bills; his brother, Larry (Amanda) Bills of Appleton, Wis.; and his children from a previous marriage, Mike, Lori, Carmen, Christina and Buddy, Jr. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News.

Buddy Gene Bills, the son of Kenneth and Margaret (Williams) Bills, was born on December 30, 1954 in Omaha, Nebraska. He grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from Black River Falls High School in 1973. He met his future wife, Sheila Pope in 1980. Together they moved to Kellogg in 1993 where Buddy worked as a welder at Co-Line in Sully and later at F-Co in Des Moines. He and Sheila were united in marriage at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where Buddy was a member, on April 8, 1998. Buddy enjoyed camping, fishing, playing pool spending time with family and friends, and traveling to Las Vegas. He was a great storyteller and loved cheering on the Green Bay Packers. Buddy was a loving and devoted husband, dad, brother, and friend.

Buddy is survived by his wife, Shelia of Kellogg; sons, Nathan and Brandon Bills of Kellogg; his brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Amanda Bills of Appleton, WI; and his children from a previous marriage, Mike, Lori, Carmen, Christina, and Buddy, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Charles and K.C. Bills.
