Services Held Monday for Laura Mae Roberts

Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph (Laura Mae), Roberts, 77, a resident of the Newton Community for 33 years, were held Monday afternoon at the Johnson funeral Home.

The Rev. Philip C. Biblehimer, pastor of the First Lutheran church, conducted the services. Burial was in Newton Union Cemetery.

Mrs. R.L. Jackson the organist, accompanied the soloist, Ruth Jackson.

Pallbearers were Edward Leedom, Fred McAfee, Bill Jenkins, Donald Leedom, Michael Diehm, and Patrick Jenkins.
