Patricia ‘Patty’ Terris

Patty was the daughter of Robert and Virginia Terris. She was born on Nov. 29, 1958, in Des Moines. Patty graduated from Newton Senior High School. She worked at Walmart and was a member of Sacred Heart Church.

Patty died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at Heritage Manor from Lung Cancer. She was 54 years old. Patty was preceded in death by her father Robert.

Those left to honor her memory are her mother Virginia; son Robert (Amber); daughter Tonya; two grandchildren, Dylan Patterson and Cailey Coady; brother Bob of San Diego, Calif.; as well as her sisters, Lisa of New York, N.Y., and Melissa of San Antiona, Texas.

The will be no services. An inurnment service will be held at a later date at Newton Union Cemetery.

Life is short and then you live forever.

Memorials may be made to Jasper County Rides or Sacred Heart Church, and can be left at the Johnson Funeral Home. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News.
