Phyllis Northcott Dies on Friday; Services Tuesday
Phyllis Ann Northcott, 38, of 817 E. 6th St. N., a lifelong resident of Newton, died Friday evening at the Skiff Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Wallace Funeral Home.
The Rev. William E. Sexton, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Newton Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Northcott of Newton; and a sister, Nancy Northcott of Newton.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanne, in 1961 and a sister in infancy.
Miss Northcott was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
The daughter of Carl L. and Florence D. Sullivan Northcott, she was born May 15, 1940 at Newton.
