Audrey Berenice “Becky” Cox, 85, of Colfax died Sunday, June 9, 2013, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Howard Street Christian Church with burial following at Colfax Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church.

Audrey Berenice "Becky" Cox, age 85 of Colfax died Sunday, June 9, 2013, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. at the Howard Street Christian Church with burial following at Colfax Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the church. The daughter of Willie S. and Leona P. (Lutz) Stanberry, Becky was born on April 8, 1928, in Monroe, Iowa. She graduated from Alleman High School in 1945. On June 1, 1946, she was united in marriage to Joseph Andrew Kintz. Following his passing, she married William C. Cox on January 11, 1961.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, John (Jayne) Kintz of Grinnell and Ruth Kintz of Colfax; Five grandchildren, Traci (Brad) Dunsbergen of Colfax, Kayte Kintz of Grinnell, Jaydine (Ed) Good of Grinnell, DaNaye (Merlin) VanDeKrol of Lynnville, and Eric (Heather) Lorton of Oskaloosa; 13 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Also surviving is a step daughter, Charlotte Williams and her family; a sister, Mary Young of Des Moines and many nieces' nephews and friends.
