Mrs. James Hart, after a painful illness died at her home Friday morning, Dec. 4th, aged 77 years. She had not been in good health for the past two years but the immediate cause of her death was pneumonia. Mrs. Hart was born in Winsor, Maine, where she was married and where her first husband died. She moved to Lincoln, Neb., where she lived a short time, then to Des Moines and thence to Monroe, where she has since resided.

In March 1880 she was again married to James Hart of Monroe, who survives her. The funeral took place Monday afternoon from the late residence. Mrs. Hart will be greatly missed by a large circle of friends. She was a devoted wife and mother, true to her husband and an excellent neighbor.
