The death of Glenn Phillips, son of Mr. and Mrs. Artie A. Phillips of Chicago, occurred this morning at four o’clock.

Mrs. T. R. Phillips left for Chicago yesterday morning in response to a telegram telling of his serious illness. She and the sorrowing parents will arrive tomorrow morning at 7:19 with the remains and the funeral will be held here. No arrangements have yet been made for the funeral.

Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Phillips and Mrs. T. R. Phillips arrived this morning from Chicago with the remains of Glenn Phillips and the funeral will be tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock at the residence of Mrs. Nancy S. Morton on South Scott Street. Services will be in charge of Revs. Chambers, Smith and Lusk.

Glenn was a little more than fourteen years of age and was a bright manly young fellow. His death resulted from typhoid fever and has almost prostrated his parents and grandparents. Glenn was here several weeks the past summer and made many friends among the boys and girls who regret deeply his untimely death.
