Tuesday afternoon, the infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Daly, living east of town about 1 mile, was drowned, by falling from the porch head first into a pail of water which stood by the porch. Fred was away from home at the time and the mother discovered the little one after life was extinct. The babe was a bright little fellow and was worshipped by its parents, who have the sympathy of all in their sad bereavement.
