The death of Rev. B.C. Baumgardner is reported to have occurred in Valley Junction this morning. He was preaching in the Congregational Church there and fell victim to typhoid fever, which is prevailing there.

Rev. Baumgardner was formerly pastor of the Congregational Church in this city and after leaving here was for some time interested in life insurance. He took quite an active interest in everyday problems and was known to be a strong socialist.
