Hansine C. Skow (Anderson)

Mrs. C. K. Skow died at her home in the south part of this city late Saturday evening. She had been in ill health for many years.

Deceased was born in Friedrigshald, Norway, April 7, 1851 and was married in 1878 in the city of St. Louis to Mr. C. K. Skow. They came to Newton twenty years ago the thirteenth of next May.

Mrs. Skow had for eighteen years been a member of the Lutheran Church of this city. She leaves her husband and one son, Court Max, a bright young fellow aged seventeen years and who will graduate from the high school of this city this year.

The funeral occurred at two o’clock this afternoon at the Lutheran Church, services being conducted by Rev. M. L. Tate, her pastor, after which the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery north of the city. ~ The Newton Daily Herald, Monday, March 16, 1903, Page 1, Column 4
