F. P. Gardner of the firm of Burnell & Gardner went to his home in Washington, Iowa, one day this week, called there by the illness of his father, A. M. Gardner, which occurred at 11 o’clock last evening.

The funeral will be held Sunday. The store of Burnell & Gardner will be closed today and tomorrow. F. P. Gardner was the youngest member of his father’s family and it seems that he is very greatly affected by his death.
