Died – Olive Blanch Fisher was born in Blandinsville, Ill., January 14, 1879, and died at her home in Newton, Iowa, February 5, 1903, at the age of 24 years and 20 days. At the age of fourteen she made a profession of faith in Christ and united with the Baptist Church of Blandinsville, Ill. In the fellowship of the Christian Church she remained a faithful member till the master said come up higher. She was united in marriage to Mr. Fred Kling Feb. 24, 1899. This union was a most happy one, but so soon interrupted by death. The dear one taken and the husband left to mourn his loss, but his loss is her eternal gain. Besides a husband, she leaves to mourn a loving father and mother, a brother and sister, other relatives and many dear friends. She was loved by all who knew her.

Her sickness was long, being eight months, and most of this time was attended by Miss Kate Coakly, a professional nurse of Des Moines whom Mrs. Kling loved most dearly because of her untiring attention and patient and loving service. Her faith in Christ never wavered; her sweet resignation to the divine will was uninterrupted; her last words were full of hope and encouragement. She bade her loved ones farewell; husband, father, mother, brother and sister, she said to each, meet me in heaven. How blessed the righteous when he dies. How blessed are the dead who die in the Lord.

Services were held at the house conducted by Rev. E. F. Leake, her pastor, and assisted by Rev. E. S. Brown.
