Herman Eggert, son of John Eggert, of this city, died about nine o’clock last evening at his home on the Manning place southwest of town, from typhoid pneumonia. Deceased was perhaps 35 years of age and leaves a wife and adopted daughter, ten or twelve years of age, the latter now showing symptoms of coming down with the same disease. Mrs. Eggert was a Flaherty, whose people live near Monroe and it is said that Mr. Eggert contracted the disease at the Flaherty home, where several member of the family are sick.
