Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M., Saturday, February 02, 2013 at the funeral home.
Jason James, the son of Randy and Gloria (Bricker) James, was born on March 10, 1980 in Grinnell, Iowa. He graduated from Newton High School in 1999 and took college classes toward an electrical degree. Jason most recently worked for Commonwealth Electric Company at TPI in Newton. He enjoyed fishing, working out, and spending time with his son. Those left to remember Jason are his son, Austin James of Newton; parents, Randy (Rita Delorenzo) James of Newton and Gloria (Richard) Armstrong of Newton; his 2 sisters, Tina (Bob) Cupples and Nicole Webb, both of Newton; half-sister, Kelli Brown of Newton; and step-sister, Raelene Needham-Delorenzo of Marshalltown. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his niece, Kylee Webb.

Memorials in Jason’s name to be made out to Tina Cupples and left at the funeral home.
