Byron Wilson, 64, Dies at Hospital
Byron Wilson, 64, of route 2, Monroe, died at 4:30 am Friday at the Skiff Memorial hospital after suffering a heart attack.Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
Morgan-Loehr funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Monday Services For Byron Wilson
Byron Wilson, 65, longtime Jasper county resident, died at Skiff hospital from a heart attack Friday.Funeral services will be held 1 pm Monday at Morgan-Loehr funeral home with the Rev. Neil Armstrong of Monroe Presbyterian church officiating.
Survivors are his wife, Laura; two children by a previous marriage, Jack of California and Sherral of Berea, Ohio; two brothers, Ivy Wilson of Newton and Leonard Wilson of Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Ray Stayton of Ontario, Calif.; and three step sons, Robert, Harold and Clifford Jackson.
Born to William Green and Minnie Nance Wilson July 22, 1895 at Versailles, Mo., he came to Iowa in 1916 and farmed north of Kellogg for 15 years. He worked for the Maytag Co. for five years and has farmed for the last 15 years in the Newton and Monroe areas. He married Laura Jackson December 19, 1956 at Laurel [IA].
He was a member of the Elks, Moose Lodge and Knights of Pythias Lodge.
