Word was received today of the death of Mrs. W. J. Adamson in Indianapolis, Indiana where she has been visiting this winter, a victim of dropsy and heart affection. Mrs. Adamson has been a resident of Colfax for fifteen years and was a highly respected citizen. Her remains will be brought here for burial today and the funeral held from the First Presbyterian church, with Rev. G. E. Chapman as officiating minister.

Mrs. Adamson leaves a husband to mourn her loss. She was a native of Northern Ireland and among those who embraced the old Scotch Presbyterian religion, in early childhood. ~ The Newton Daily News, February 6, 1926, page 6.
