Geo. Streeter, late of Des Moines, but formerly of near Mingo, died Monday in Des Moines of dropsy at the age of 56 years.

The funeral occurred at the Ashton Chapel, and the burial at the Ashton Cemetery. Several Colfax friends attended the funeral.

An interesting fact in connection with the case is that he was the first of the family of ten children to die in 55 years.
