Mr. John Potter died at his home in the south part of town Sunday morning. Funeral occurred Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.

Prairie City (IA) News, 1902John Potter was born in Greenville, Penn., May 12, 1825 and died in 1902.
He was married 47 years ago, in Ohio.
They came to Iowa seven years later and to within four miles of Prairie City, 36 years ago.
They have no children.
A nephew of Mrs. Potter, Mr. Miner of Odebolt and other relatives, Mrs. Gliddon and Bon of Hartford, Ohio, attended the funeral.
Burial in Waveland Cemetery at Prairie City.
