Marietta Dryden

Mrs. Marietta Dryden died at her home in Lynnville, Wednesday afternoon, after a lingering illness of several years duration, her ailment being Bright’s disease. She leaves two children, both grown, and a large circle of friends to mourn her loss. Funeral took place Friday, she being laid to rest by the side of her husband, Wm. Dryden, who departed this life some eight years ago. Mrs. Dryden, at the time of her death was postmaster at Lynnville. ~ The Newton Daily Herald, Monday, July 21, 1902, Page 4, Column 3
