Life Story of Norman Dunaway

Norman Clark Dunaway, son of James and Jessie Clark Dunaway, was born August 29, 1913 and passed away at Collins Memorial Hospital May 22, at the age of 59 years, eight months and 23 days.

Norman was a member of the Monroe Methodist Church, Fairview Lodge #194, Eastern Star, and Knights of the Pythias of Monroe.

He was united in marriage to Ellen Horman February 19, 1936,

To this union were born four children, James of DeWitt, Mrs. Lester (Mary) Beaver of Knoxville, Norma Nash of Pleasantville and Robert of Prairie City.

Besides his wife and four children, he is survived by nine grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Carl (Ruth) Ver Heul of Monroe; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 24, at 2:00 p.m. at the Monroe United Methodist Church with Rev. Warren McFate officiating. Burial will be in the Monroe Silent Cemetery.

Memorial contributions will be accepted for the United Methodist organ fund.
