C. Dunaway, Tool’s Chapel, Dies Today

Tool’s Chapel- James C. Dunaway, 72 year old farmer of the Tool’s Chapel neighborhood, died at his home about 3 1/2 miles east of Monroe early this morning. Although Mr. Dunaway ha been in failing health for the past year, his death came unexpectedly following a heart attack.

Immediate surviving relatives are his wife, the former Jessie Clark of Colfax, to whom he was united in marriage in 1912; a son Norman and five grandchildren.
Others surviving are six sisters, Mrs. Mattie Sheeler of Monroe, Mrs. Etta Oswalt of Story City, Mrs. Mattie Markley of Ames, Mrs. Mart Nolin of the state of California, Mrs. Ola Rexroat of Corydon, and Mrs. Lucy Clark of Altoona, also one brother, Arthur Dunaway who lives in Missouri.

Born in the state of Kansas, Nov 21, 1869, Mr. Dunaway came to Iowa with his parents at the age of two settling in Jasper county where he spent the remainder of his life.

Funeral arrangements had not been completed late this afternoon.
