Thelma J. Major passed away on Monday, October 1, 2012, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Thelma is the loving mother of eight children, 27 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life for Thelma will be held at a later date.
