Andy Lee Reeves, 48, of Newton died on Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Skiff Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at a later date. The Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory will be handling the arrangements. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.

Andy Lee Reeves, the son of Phillip and Pearl (Dacken) Reaves, was born on December 1, 1963 in Long Beach, California. He graduated from the Des Moines Public School System in 1982. Andy worked as a meat cutter for many places including the Golden Corral in Ankeny. He was united in marriage with Alexis Lintz on July 4, 2000 in Ankeny. They made thier home in Newton. Andy enjoyed fishing and shooting guns. Those left to honor Andy's memory are his wife, Alexis Reeves of Newton; siblings, Tabatha Swanson of Newton, Judy Low of Newton, Phillip (Barb) Reeves of Des Moines, John (Teresa) Reeves of Des Moines, and Samantha (John) Phillips of Des Moines; his many nieces and nephews, inlcuding Ashley, Tracey, and Michael Swanson; and his aunt, Mary German of Newton. He was preceded in death by his parents and many aunts and uncles.

Memorials in Andy's name may be left at the funeral home or mailed to Jan Lintz at 1317 10th St., Nevada, Iowa 50201.
