Floyd Frederick Stine 1917-1967

Floyd Frederick Stine passed away at his farm residence southeast of Monroe, Iowa in Jasper County on November 9th, 1917 at the age of 49 years, 11 months, and 27 days.

He was the son of Fred and Blanche Eleanor (Nolin) Stine and was born November 9th, 1917. He received his education in the schools of Marion County, Iowa. His entire lifetime was spent farming the home place with his parents.

He is survived by his mother and two sisters. They are: Wilma, Mrs Cifford DeBruyn of Kellogg, and Shirley Stine, who lives at home. He is also survived by two nephews.
Floyd was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services were held from the Tool’s Chapel Church on Tuesday, Nov. 7. The Rev. James Poulsen of Monroe officiated. Mrs. James Dockum sang “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere” and “Abide with Me” accompanied by Mrs. Wayne Lubberden.

Casket bearers were Jake Rozendaal, John Keuning, John Elmer Willemsen, Lorence Van Dusseldorp, Devayne Honnold and Robert Stine.
Interment was in the Fairfiew Cemetery located east of Monroe, Iowa with arrangements by the Monroe Garden Chapel.
