Rev. Dwight Hearl Noe'

Hickory Tavern

Rev. Dwight Hearl Noe`, 76, of 227 Bolt Rd., and husband of Mary Jo Collins Noe`, entered into Glory on Sunday, September 9, 2012.

Born in Leed, South Dakota, he was a son of the late Lewis and Marice Pitzenberger Noe`. A U.S. Army veteran, Rev. Noe` was a retired Minister in the Presbyterian Church in America. Upon retirement he served as area Coordinator and Academic Advisor for Adult Education for Limestone College. He was a devoted Pastor, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are his children: Robyn N. Armstrong of Hickory Tavern, and Jonathan Noe` and wife Kim of Inman; grand children: Jason Armstrong and wife Dana of Clemson, Heather Armstrong of Hickory Tavern, B.G. Hodges of Hickory Tavern, Benjamin Noe` of Inman, and Brook Noe` of Inman; great grandson: Reed Armstrong of Clemson; Sisters: Delores Brinegar of Ottumwa, IA, Darlene Shaffer of Mingo, IA, and Bonnie Van Wardhuizer of Newton, IA; and brother: Darrell Noe` of Mingo, IA.

In addition to his parents, Rev. Noe` was predeceased by brothers, Dale and Dennis Noe` and a sister, Diane Noe`.

Funeral services will be held at Friendship Presbyterian Church, 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 12, 2012, conducted by Dr. Robert D. Cathcart, Jr., followed by burial in the church cemetery.

The family will be at the home of his daughter, Robyn Armstrong, 227 Bolt Rd. Gray Court, and will receive friends in the fellowship hall immediately following the service.
