RONALD R. SCOVILLE

Ronald R. Scoville of Naperville Ronald R. Scoville, 85, peacefully passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at Edward Hospital, Naperville. He was born Aug. 19, 1927, in Newton, Iowa. He was the loving husband of Lorraine Spong-Scoville; dedicated father of Diane (Earl) Melin of Divide, CO, Dr. Linda Scoville of of Plano, TX and Janet (Dr. Larry) Fleming of Long Grove, IL and children of Lorraine, Michael (Pam) Spong of Goodfield, IL and David (Joyce) Spong of Longmont, CO; generous grandpa of Amy (Shawn) Barber, Scott Pankratz, Kayla and Brooks Fleming, Erik (Amy) Spong, Christopher (Valerie) Spong, Aaron (Cami) Spong and Jason Spong; and great-grandpa of Geffrey, Holly, Alen and Beckett. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Marie (nee Owens) Scoville; and his first wife, Marion Scoville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, Music Ministry Department, 300 E. Gartner Road, Naperville, IL. Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 22, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 300 E. Gartner Road, Naperville, IL 60540, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Naperville Cemetery, Naperville, IL.
