Mrs. Elizabeth Ervin died last Sunday morning, March 3rd, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. B. Mobberly, in this city.

Deceased was born April 25, 1832. In November of 1852 she was married to W. E. Ervin in Highland County, Ohio. To this union there were six children born, five of whom survive: John of Columbus, Ohio; William Harry of Los Angeles; Mrs. Lillie Mobberly; Charles E. and Mrs. E. S. Donahey. A daughter, Mrs. Robert Martin, is dead.

The family came to this county from the east in 1874 and had ever since been known among our best citizens. Mr. Ervin died only last year and it is probable that the faithful nursing and care given him by his faithful wife had much to do with the failure of her health for she had hardly been well since. Mrs. Ervin had since the death of her husband made her home in this city with Mrs. Mobberly.

Deceased was a faithful Christian woman, having been a member of the Presbyterian Church. The funeral occurred Tuesday at ten o’clock in the Presbyterian Church, Rev. R. F. Chambers having charge of the service.
