Michael Cole, one of Jasper County’s old citizens, who had lived here for 35 years, died Wednesday morning at 2 o’clock at the home of his son, Jacob, with whom he lived, some four miles east of Kellogg. Deceased was born in Columbia, Co., N. Y., and would have been 89 years old had he lived till the 27th of the present month. The funeral will occur Friday morning at the late residence, interment being in the cemetery north of this city.
