Newton, IowaVisitation: Visitation will be from 3-7:30 p.m.; with the family present from 6-7:30 p.m., Monday May 28, 2012 at the funeral home.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at the Sully Community Church, 12559 S. 92nd Ave. in Sully.
Interment: Immediately following the funeral service on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at the Sully Cemetery in Sully.Those left to honor Adah's memory are her three children: Nancy (Jerry) Slegh of Prairie City, Bonnie (Stan) Vander Weerdt of Searsboro, and Mark (Nancy) Hunziker of Cresco; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Donna Holland of Newton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ernie in 2008; son, Charles Louis Hunziker; brothers, Keith, Curtis, and Robert Worthy; sisters, Arlene Worthy, Darlene Worthy, Marjorie Cloyd, Vivian Foster, Francene Sears, and Charlotte Rudkin.
Adah was a member of the Killduff United Methodist Church.
Adah took great pride and joy in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a warm, good-hearted person who enjoyed talking with and listening to others. She was very practical and carried a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and playing solitaire.
Memorials to the American Red Cross or to a charity of the donor’s choice may be left at the church on the day of the service or at the funeral home. Memorials may also be mailed to the funeral home, if mailing to the funeral home, please add, Attn: Hunziker Family.
