Visitation: The family will greet friends from 5-7 P.M., Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the funeral home.
Funeral Service: 11 A.M., Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at the Christian Reformed Church in Newton
Interment: 1:30 P.M., Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Sully Cemetery in Sully.

Those left to honor Jeannette's memory are her daughter, Francene (Marvin) VanDerPol of Lakewood, CO; 4 sons, Darrell (Diana) Jansen of Westminster, CO, Bryce (Sally) Jansen of San Diego, CA, Mark (Jane) Jansen of Cedar Falls, and Dean Jansen of Newton; her 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and her brother, Ivan (Myrl) Den Besten of Bowling Green, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerrit and Fredricka (Van Zee) Den Besten; husband, Delmar Jansen; and her brother, Cornelius, Fred and Harold Den Besten.

Jeannette was a homemaker and drove school bus for 18 years for the Newton Public Schools, reitirng in 1996.

She was a 75 year member of the Newton Christian Reformed Church, where she served as a member of the Mary and Martha Circle and church organist and pianist.

Memorials to the Newton Christian Reformed Church may be left at the funeral home or at the church the morning of the service.
