Memorial Service: 1:30 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 2012 at in the dining area of the First United Methodist Church in Newton.
Those left to honor Dale's memory include his wife, Marla of Kellogg; his children, Jennifer (Robert) Bruns of Colfax, Tony (Penny) Stevens of Newton, Joe (Mary) Stevens of Kellogg, Timothy Stevens of Newton; and Christopher (Michell) Petrie of Deep River; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his two sisters, Sharon Gragg of Newton and Dixie Isaac of Grinnell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Vivian Inez (Hood) Stevens; a great-granddaughter, Kally Bestell; a brother and two sisters.

Dale was a mechanic for many years at Maples Chevrolet in Newton. He had also been a production worker for Pella Corporation in Pella, Iowa. Dale loved being with his family and friends. He also enjoyed working on cars, old country music, fishing, camping, and watching wrestling on tv.
