Elva Ruggless dies Sunday;
rites Wednesday
Colfax - Mrs. Earl (Elva M.) Ruggless, 87, a lifelong resident of Colfax, died Sunday morning at he Clear View Manor in Prairie City.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. The Rev. Jim Pemble, pastor of the Colfax United Methodist Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Colfax Cemetery.

Survivors are two sons, Roge and Ben, both of Colfax; a daughter, Mrs. Wilbur (Coleen) Robson of Colfax; five grandchildren, four step-grand children; five great grandchildren; 10 step-great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Blanche Albee of Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1978, parents and four brothers.

Mrs. Ruggless was a 50-year member of the Sunshine Sewing Club.

The daughter of Benjamin and Lovine Dickerson Annis, she was born Sept. 22, 1892 in Newton.

She was married Dec. 25, 1912 in Colfax.
