Cheryl Kling
Dies Saturday;
Services Tuesday

Cheryl E. Kling, 25, of 321 W. 11th St. N., died Saturday at the University Hospitals in Iowa City

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Wallace Funeral Home.

The Rev. Paul Akin, pastor of St. Luke United Methodist Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Newton Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors are two brothers. Howard Kling, stationed with the Navy in Japan, and James L. Kling of Newton; three sisters, Kathaleen Kling, Mrs. Donald (Armelda Mae) Sutton and Carol McKinney, all of Newton.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Kling, in 1965, and her mother Margaret Kling, in August, 1979.

Miss Kling had been employed by the Iowa Department of Transportation in Des Moines, had been a secretary at the Newton YMCA and had worked at the Letter Shop Printing Co.

The daughter of Lester and Margaret Briggs Kling, she was born Mar. 27, 1954 in Newton, was a 1972 graduate of Newton Community High School and a graduate of Des Moines Area Community College.
