Nellie K. Vander Molen, 99, formerly of Peoria, Iowa, passed away Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, at the Crystal Heights Care Center in Oskaloosa. Nellie, wife of the late Jacob Vander Molen, is survived by three children and their spouses, Twylla B. and Willard Nieboer of Jenison, Mich., Larry W. and Linda Vander Molen, Maryan R. and Guy De Haan all of Pella; 10 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at the Peoria Christian Reformed Church in Peoria. Interment will be prior to the memorial service in the Peoria Cemetery.
Visitation will begin after noon on Tuesday at Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella, where the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be given for the Peoria Christian School or the Peoria Christian Reformed Church in Peoria.
