Green Lane, Pa. - George W. Wormley, 81, of Green Lane, Pa., formerly of Newton, died Sunday, Dec. 13, in Quakertown, Pa.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Frieden's United Church of Christ in Somneyville, Pa.

The son of B.H. and Imogene Dodge Wormley, he was a graduate of Newton High School and Iowa State University. Mr. Wormley was a millitary veteran, serving during World War II. He was the crops and machinery editor for The Farm Journal.

Survivors include his wife, Marion; two sisters, Marjorie Singer of Iowa City and Winifred Tiedje of Newton; a brother, Robert Wormley of Newton; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
