Unknown NewspaperFuneral services for Mrs. Anna Eliza Hutchinson, 75, who passed away at her home Thursday night after an eight months illness, were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. J. A. Riggs in charge.
Anna Eliza Williams, daughter of Job and Adeline Williams was born December 4, 1868, at Lynnville, Iowa.
She was married March 3, 1888 at New Sharon, Iowa to William E. Hutchinson who died July 14, 1934.
They spent most of their early life on a farm near Kellogg and in 1908 moved to Livermore. In 1918 they moved to Wesely.
Eleven children were born to them: Mrs. Curtis Benskin and Ernest of Wesley, Mrs. A. E. Lohr, Mrs. Carl Chalstrom and Mary of Fort Dodge, Frank and Almyr of Alden, Ellsworth of Canisota, S. D., Lloyd and Mrs. Ralph Faircloth of Newton, Mrs. Clarence Bergeson of St. Olaf, Iowa.
Besides her children she leaves 26 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and two sisters.
All the children and one sister were present at the funeral services which were held Sunday at the Methodist church with Rev. J. A. Riggs in charge.
Musical numbers were given by Mesdames Lawrence Hansen and Milton Giddings accompanied by Mrs. Homer Anderson. The floral arrangements were in charge of Mrs. A. M. Lease and Mrs. Riggs.
Internment was in Evergreen cemetery.
Those who attended the funeral from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Bert Benskin and Virginia of Laurel, Esther Watson of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Joe Johnson of Alden.
