A funeral service for Doris Maxine Klopping, 75, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Pence-Reese Funeral Home in Newton.
Burial will be in Center Friends Cemetery in rural Newton. A memorial fund in Doris’ name has been established. Doris is the wife of Richard K. KIopping of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.pencefh.com.

Doris Maxine Klopping, 75, the daughter of Harold E. and Margaret E. (Eggleston) Clark, was born August 15, 1935, in Clemons, Iowa. She graduated from the Clemons' High School and later attended Kingsway Bible College in Des Moines.
On December 19, 1996, Doris was united in marriage with Richard Keith Klopping at Kingsway Church in Newton. She was employed as a sales clerk at JC Penny and also a jewelry store, both in Marshalltown. Doris had devoted her life to her husband and family, and attended River of Life Church in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed church activities, volunteering at nursing homes, reading and helping on the farm.
Doris passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011, due to injuries sustained in a farming accident near Marshalltown. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Duane Clark; and a sister Carolyn Beuter.
Those left to honor Doris' memory include her husband Richard of Cedar Rapids; her step-daughters: Linda (Mike) Nicholas of North Liberty, Janet (Mohzam) DeNatti of British Columbia, Canada, Sara Klopping of Louisville, KY and Gail (Bill) Thomas of Marshalltown; her eight step-grandchildren; her brothers: Dallas (Laurie) Clark of Marshalltown and Keith Clark of Seattle, Washington; her sisters: Florence (Larry) Rhodes of Zearing and Janice (Delbert) Masterhan of Marion; and many friends.
