BLAIRSTOWN — Dustin J. Henning, 30, of Blairstown died Tuesday, April 26, 2011.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 30, at Kloster Funeral Home, in Marengo. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today, April 29, at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.
Survivors include his parents, Jeff Henning (Laurie) of Marengo and Donna Soderblom (Daryl) of Newton; a son, Brydon Henning of Elkader; grandmother, Janice Henning of Oskaloosa; step-brothers, Calvin Korns of Marengo and Kyle Soderblom of Newton; and step-sisters, Jenelle, Chelsea and Melissa Soderblom, all of Newton. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather and a step-sister, Jenny Korns.

Dustin Joseph Henning was born February 14, 1981 in Grinnell, Iowa, the son of Jeff and Donna James Henning. He received his high school diploma from DMACC at Newton. He was employed as a welder, and did auto body work and painting. Most recently he worked in the construction industry.
