Bonnie J. Miller, 70, of Monroe died Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at the Comfort House in Pella.
Celebration of life services for Bonnie will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com.
The daughter of Lyle and Mildred (McKee) Tool, Bonnie was born on May 31, 1940, in Newton. She was a graduate of Monroe High School, class of 1958. On Dec. 10, 1960, Bonnie was united in marriage with Ronald Miller at the United Methodist Church in Monroe. Bonnie had a great passion for children and was a devoted daycare provider for 45 years. Bonnie enjoyed camping, but her greatest love was her family.
Those left to honor her memory are her husband, Ronald Miller of Monroe; two sons, Steve Miller of Monroe and Scott (Ann) Miller of Des Moines; one sister, Janis Dore of Carthage, Mo.; six grandchildren, Reece Miller, Nick Martes, Matt Miller, Emma Miller, Ryan Vos and Zach Vos; and many nieces and nephews. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, son Shane Miller, and sister Harriet Sneller.
