Mrs. Sarah F. Rowe died at her home in this township early Friday morning, Feb. 28, aged 26 years, 2 months and 8 days. She had not been feeling well for some time past, but her final sickness began last Sunday. The trusting faith of Christianity never failed her; she bore all without a murmur and the final summons found her ready to enter into her reward.

Mrs. Rowe’s maiden name was Green, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elias Green, of this township. She was born in Scott County, Iowa, and removed with her parents to this county a number of years ago. She was married to W. S. Rowe in 1892, and leaves two children and her husband to mourn her loss. The funeral was held at the U. B. Church, of which she was a member, the Rev. Robert Lavender of Gilman, officiating, at 1 o’clock Saturday, Feb. 29. The interment was in the Cemetery of the U. B. Church.
